Our stay at Garden Burees was epic! We had the best time with our friends, hitting up the nearby beaches and catching some sick waves during our awesome surf lesson. We even had the property arrange a private catering session for us, and it was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back and have another adventure!
The only thing we would've loved to see at Garden Burees is a late-night party area for young people like us. It would've been super fun to have a designated spot to dance the night away and meet other party animals.

Personally I loved the natural setting, the lizards, the scrub turkeys, the possums, the bathrooms and the romance of the place. May partner is Indonesian and was quite literally terrified of the wildlife, especially the lizards.
The room was very noisy. We had a group of very loud young people in the room next to us who were drunk and talked extremely loudly until 5 AM. The thin walls allowed us to hear every word.

This was a fantastic place to stay. I especially appreciated the complimentary bottle of champagne and bowl of fresh fruit. The rooms were spacious and well designed.
The hot tub was looked very appealing but was not designed to have hot water.

Charming, quirky studio with a private and serene atmosphere. Walkable distance to town. Loved the Byron Bay cookies! Lush gardens and wildlife, including a cute lizard named Bruce. The outdoor shower and spa bath were amazing. Great location adjoining the Brewery Arts Centre. Decor was funky and pleasing, creating a relaxed tropical feel. Abundant sightings of bush turkeys and water dragons added to the experience. Dragonfly Rest villa was like a little slice of Bali, with an idyllic outdoor bath and lounge area. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

In October 2012 my girlfriend and I planned a road trip from Sydney to Queensland. Prior to leaving I obtained an engagement ring and made plans to propose to my girlfriend on the 17th Oct 2012 at Cape Byron under the lighthouse. Prior to travelling I searched for hours looking for the perfect place to stay in Byron Bay and discovered Garden Burees. I contacted the very friendly staff there and they arranged for the bungalow i booked to have fresh flowers, champagne, chocolates and candles for our arrival. Not only that they also arranged for us to attend a couples day spa upon our arrival. The proposal went as planned and we Checked into the Garden Burees without hassle. We were very impressed by the quality of service and luxuries we were afforded upon our arrival. Fresh fruit and plenty of necessities were covered in the initial charge and there were no unexpected costs associated with our stay. I was hoping to find accommodation that meet my needs given the special occasion and Garden Burees met those needs. I wanted to find a place that was romantic and could be remembered as being positive so that in future years we would confidently return to celebrate our anniversaries at the same place it all began. Garden Burees is just that place. Thankyou to all the staff involved in making this special occasion perfect. Darel Stevens
There was nothing negative about our stay.

It was a comfortable and private self contained studio. Everything you needed was supplied as well as some small well chosen luxuries e.g. some local coffee and shower gel from the spa next door. It was absolutely charming.

Title: Family-Friendly Retreat with a Hint of Adventure
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities on site, such as a playground or organized games.

Quietness
Beds were too small (I am 6'5") and television reception and selection was poor

We especially loved the outdoor shower and the beautiful scenery. The spa was very relaxing and the view from the bedroom was great. Very private and magical. Also having the restaurant close was very handy! Will definitely recommend!

The bungalow was beautifully decorated with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The gardens surrounding the bungalow were well-maintained and added to the overall ambiance. It was also great to have parking available right in front of our bungalow. The location of the bungalow was convenient as it was only a short walk to town and we were able to enjoy the local attractions easily.
The bathroom in the bungalow was a bit small and could have been more spacious. the walk to town at night was a bit dark and muddy, as there were no footpaths or adequate lighting.

The villas are very beautiful and rustic. It really felt like we were in Bali. The location was close to town and it was a really unique and enjoyable place to stay. I will definitely go back.
The noise of the campground beside our chalet was definitely quite noticeable. It always quieted down at a decent hour though so it wasn't really an issue.
